As a partner-owner of TownTalk I get to travel quite a bit. The beautiful town of McCall, Idaho is one of our target markets. I first came to McCall in the late 60's to run my dog in the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club's National Specialty Field Trial. We stayed at Shore Lodge and I have never forgotten the experience. The manager at the time was John Edwards and he was incredibly kind to us...long story. I even remember our dining room server's name from nearly 50 years ago...Sherri Stewart! Shore Lodge gets 5 Stars but only because 10 Stars is not an option...

I have food allergies and sensitivities. Jeff at Bonelli's always offers healthy options that can be adapted to my needs. The food is yummy, and the service is great! The Adriatic Salad is my best vegetarian choice.

Lynn Schneidermann's Window Welder crew did a great job of replacing my damaged windshield while I was RV camping at Kraay's Farm south of Bellevue. After the install, while driving into the sun, I noticed a minor flaw in the glass surface that I was not able to remove. I stopped by their shop in Bellevue and they buffed it out perfectly in just a few minutes. PLUS...free pizza and a $25.00 "credit card" that I could use anywhere. Several years ago my friend Debby Martin and I met with Randy Luke to discuss the options for financing a house on Harstine Island in the West Sound. After thoroughly going over our financial situation, and the sellers offer that was on the table, Randy suggested that we go with owner financing rather than anything he could offer us. I'm wintering over this year in SoCal's Imperial Valley for the first time...training my English Springer Spaniel field trial dogs and guiding at Woodland's Hunt Club just west of the town of Imperial. It might go without saying that it's easy to find great Mexican food down here and I do love it. But...I was so glad to discover the Brickhouse Deli...a fantastic sandwich, salad, and breakfast shop! When you are in the Valley be sure to check it out fro breakfast or lunch...open M-F from 7-3...closed weekends.

I'm so happy the dog owners in NW Montana now have an experienced, positive reinforcement style trainer to work with. My son and I had our first hunt ever today. It was a great day for a father and son to share. I wanted to thank Mendel for running such a top notch professional hunting experience. I also want to thank Bill and Keeper for making our first hunt a fun experience. Bill is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Keeper worked his tail off and flushed all our birds out. I was in awe how Bill and his dog worked together as a team. Keeper is a young dog but wow…he knows his job! You’ve got to try shooting birds over a flushing dog like this Springer Spaniel. It is fast action and you have to get your shotgun up quick. I think experienced hunters will definitely enjoy this challenge. I was passing through this part of California and stopped at a couple of different businesses in Arbuckle. Needing a haircut...I asked about the best barber shop in town. Everyone recommended Vanessa at Kreative Salon. I stopped in and she was able to take me right away. Vanessa asked what I did for a living and when I said I owned a web development company...well you are looking at the result. Oh, and the haircut was perfect...exactly like the photo I showed her of Brad Pitt!

Darcy brought to life the park’s history by taking us to the places where significant events actually occurred. Our grand daughter was very interested in the stories of Maud Noble and Menor’s Ferry. Thanks to Darcy’s expertise and familiarity with Grand Teton National Park, we also saw many animals and dozens of birds. Owner Craig Olden took me on a 1+ hour guided tour of his museum. As a former Army HAWK missile fire control crewman and evaluator I was more than fascinated by this place! A week or so later we bumped into each other at the local Lazy Heart Grill and when I went to pay for my lunch I was told that Craig took care of it. A true Texas gentleman!
